
Policy Academy Site Visits
The virtual site visit is an opportunity to meet with each HBCU team prior to the March 2010 Academy to provide an overview of the Academy, clarify roles and expectations, and introduce you to SAMHSA and other key project staff. Each team will be responsible for completing the following steps: TEAM: Work as a team, which is critical to the success of your experience in meeting the goals of the mini-grant and the Academy. Please let Sandra Thompson (sthompson@westover.com) know of any changes in your team membership ASAP.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Provide each member of the team with a copy of the pilot application for review prior to the virtual site visit.

ACADEMY MEETING: Participate as an entire team at the Policy Academy, March 14 to March 17, and complete a draft action plan for your project.
Submit a completed action plan to Westover by April 17, 2010. Teams are expected to implement their action plans following the Academy. ACTION PLAN AND POST ACADEMY EVALUATION AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE: Submit no later than 60 days following the Academy a Project Report that will include an assessment of your progress toward meeting the goals of the mini-grant and the Academy. Additional information will be provided.
